We had a great day on Saturday March 28th for Bromley Trombone Workshop, and it was fantastic to welcome the 24 delegates who came on the day. Our youngest was only 11, and one of our number had travelled from Rotterdam for the day, and visited Phil Parker’s before the workshop had started, arriving on time with two (yes 2!) new trombones!
We had amazing guests to lead us through the day, and heard some amazing playing when where we were privileged to hear two outstanding trombone quartets perform for us – Black Dyke Trombone Quartet and Bones Apart. They were fantastic!
The pictures capture scenes from the workshop and the evenings concert, and hopefully they will provide you a good reminder of an excellent day!
My thanks to Brent Forrest for taking the pictures (well most of them).
The gallery below were all taken by Major John Murray from Bromley Salvation Army, who was also a trombone delegate on the day. John has captured some of the more casual moments of the day, as well as some action shots. He does likes to take a picture..!
